You are spot on. Buy off the timber companies to get support for a TAX on wood products. Time to cut off this “fee” loop hole these politicians love. But then again, we will never get this passed without using the referendum process which is also controlled by the politicians in control of our state.

Still we don’t know with any clarity what the lofty, grandiose intentions for the revenues will be. So Ed-Ted, U-U and Queegy, I know all of you smug, indolent tax consumers like higher taxes for self serving reasons but aren’t you even a teensy bit bothered by the fact that this is an attempt to levy an illegal tax?
