In California,

The number of employed persons has increased by 547657 since June 2012. The number of unemployed has DECREASED by 373570.
Fifth grade math: The unemployment RATE has increased slightly (0.2%) only because the size of the labor force has also increased (by 174000 since June 2012).
I thought that was a good thing.

Rex, I agree. Let’s raise it — but not to $10 an hour. That’s still way too low.

Let’s raise the minimum wage to $100 an hour. The money then would be spread around the state and everyone else would prosper, too.

Today’s unemployment numbers for California showed and increase to 8.7% in July. WTG Jerry, you’re and Steinberg are doing a hell of a job.

There are suppose to be minimum wage jobs. They are stepping stones to other jobs. Not every job is made so you can raise a family on it! Add this to BO care and this state is in deep do do.

And since when did the unemployment REALLY come down in this state? Oh when they stopped counting the people who have fallen off the services? Those people?
