It was marketed as a way to save wildlife in general from a non existent problem – lead contamination from hunting. There is no credible evidence that lead ammo used for hunting anything other than water fowl is an environmental hazard.

AB 711 was always about attacking and eventually outlawing sport hunting and making ammunition more expensive and scarcer. The environmental angle is just a ruse to fool idiot legislators, low information voters and the Big Media propaganda machine.

Dolts like Ted Steele admit as much when they post hysterical nonsense about “the highest rate of mass murder shootings, accidents and homicide!” What does any of that misinformation have to do with reducing alleged lead contamination in the environment to protect wildlife? Nothing of course! But it does prove my point about the real agenda of AB 711.
