And then there are still many laws in many places about what sex acts can be performed by consenting adults behind closed doors.

Smoking, drinking, eating, helmet laws are merely subsets of what we already inflict on one another.

Maybe, just maybe, if the “conservatives” would stop their legal crusade to demonize, imprison, steal property from, and otherwise ruining US citizen’s lives for using mind and body altering drugs that may be unhealthy, the “liberals” would take a hint and allow U.S. Citizens the right to smoke, eat and drink our way to hypertension, heart disease, type II diabetes and early death.
