That is why we are so conservative; and that is why if Donnelly or someone like him loses, we will be very forcefully bent on splitting to create a 51st state. It will not just be a ‘please can we’. It will be we are going to do it or else

LOL..right Robert! Do you know how long we have heard chatter about splitting Krazy KA into two (2) states?? I remember it back in the 1970's.....45 years ago!

The last state to split was Virginia, back in 1861, 153 years ago. Not happening lil buddy.

It would be unfortunate if California has a choice between a tax-n-spend liberal (Brown) and a bigoted conservative (Donnelly). Kashkari would be a far better alternate to Brown but if he doesn't make the cut, Brown will defeat Donnelly in a landslide.

The bigger question is how California can create an environment that attracts business and jobs. Gavin Newsom may be waiting in the wings but objectively who is the best person four years from now to lead assuming Brown doesn't run again?

The way I see this is that California is at a tipping point. People in the south see more welfare dollars at work, dollars that keep the south more stable than in the north, and dollars that will soon not be so easy coming. There is a very poor immigration policy bent at increasing liberal voting power. So if the liberals win, then they will have another Detroit. I live in the north state. I'm a veteran and have seen how things have changed over time. The north state is heavy into produce where hard working people live and are the dominant voting power. That is why we are so conservative; and that is why if Donnelly or someone like him loses, we will be very forcefully bent on splitting to create a 51st state. It will not just be a 'please can we'. It will be we are going to do it or else. Everyone thinks that it will be polite and we up here will say that we're satisfied getting no representation. Yes; that is what is at stake here. The cities have all the legislative power and use it to tell the northern workers to produce cheaply while sticking them with regulations that make businesses fail or move. If they move, it will be to somewhere more suitable. It will not be to a California city. The people that stay will fight for their 51st state. I do believe, in the end California will bankrupt itself. I believe that it will split due to political pressure. However, if Donnelly were to become governor, then there would be a chance that California would stay in one piece during his term. California is a big state, too big. It has to split or it will fail.

Love how the media is spinning that a Donnelly win in June will hurt the GOP in November. In reality, the Democrats are spinning this because they know they can defeat Kashkari as a do nothing, social/liberal GOP fresh off the TARP scandals. What is going to occur, is that the ground swell from June will build beyond proportions in November to take out Brown. The strategists and pollsters under estimate the power of the people! And the PEOPLE are PISSED with business, taxes, high cost of living and gasoline as usual. Mark My Words, Donnelly Will Win!

Actually, as I’ve been noting, led by the ever-savvy Gov. Jerry Brown, Democrats are running a “Morning in California” campaign touting how wise they have been in bringing prosperity back to California.

The honeymoon for Clown and his public trougher is over.

Clowns giving raises to teachers, but the increases in pension costs will wipeout any net gain, they are FURIOUS!

SF Unified wants a 3 year contract with 7% bumps every year, or 21% bump over 3 years- are they smoking crack????????????? Anyway, no net gain from any raises.

All that Prop 30 money that was "for the kids", well it was really for the "teachers"...and administrators.

All we need really is one more, just a final...wait for it...TAX INCREASE and our problems will be solved. For the children or course.
