Oh what BS! I go to my local supermarket on an everyday basis, and never have I looked over the shoulder of the patron in front of me to see what card they were using to pay for their groceries–and never have I ever followed anyone to the parking lot to see what brand of car they were driving. I have, however, seen people getting into taxi-cabs with their groceries, because they evidently don’t have their own transportation, and have seen them walking off with the carts. You could probably make a living as an investigative columnist, LIC–you know, do some human interest stories about why those folks are in the circumstances they are in and how they still managed to get a Cadillac to transport those “free” goods–ha-ha.

Baloney. I’ve seen people use EBT cards who climbed into brand new escalades in the parking lot. So you don’t know what you’re talking about. So naive for someone your age.

People who qualify for EBT cards are poor. Nobody should go hungry in this country! LIC you should be ashamed of yourself!!!!!!

Today they have EBT cards that are indistinguishable from a debit or credit card, bob. So when you get your free food at the grocery store nobody knows you’re a freeloader. More incentives. Back in the day everybody in line watched the foodstamp recipient use food stamps to pay for the food. So there was a price to pay for that free food. Today all the shame has been removed. Intentionally. NO WONDER THE FOOD STAMP POPULATION HAS GROWN TO 50 MILLION! Hell, I might even apply for an EBT card. The most they can do is say “no”. They can’t toss me in the slammer for submitting an application for EBT benefits. And who knows. The government clerk might let it slip through the cracks. Better chances than hitting the lotto. I have no problems with eating free food. I ain’t proud.

Become a freeloader, bob. Follow the incentives. Don’t give. Take! Start thinking like a trough feeder. We live in a completely different nation today where avarice and selfishness without any regard for the good of your fellow man is rewarded. So jump on board! Don’t get left behind and be the dummy who gets caught holding the empty bag. 😉

More debt, higher taxes. It’s what’s for dinner (and breakfast and lunch).
