75% of them probably work in the underground economy and don’t pay a dime in income taxes. Jerry Clown approved CADL’s for illegals so that they could have a convenient way to get to work every morning. I heard him say it with my own ears when he debated CashnCarry. Clown is promoting the underground economy and he’s the governor of our State! So why the frack should I give a crap about obeying the laws any more?

Why fret over another tax here or there. They are use taxes that generally are reimbursements from the lower classes for all their government safety net benefits. You should be gleeful.

The sugary drinks are not banned. Only a hefty tax has been imposed under Measure D. Still, the hefty tax only applies to the big grocery stores. Not to the small ones or to the privately owned convenience stores. The small stores are permitted to undercut the big stores in their sugary drink prices and sell the stuff in bulk to the obese children at a discounted rate. heh.
But, of course, no excise tax on candy or donuts or churros! The little obese children are allowed to get fatter and fatter on those at no monetary penalty!!! Thank God for Liberals. For they will save the world!!! 😀

Hardcore liberals are such idiots. They never consider the unintended consequences when they promote a new social crusade. Like diving headfirst into a pool with only 2 feet of water. And after the damage is done they all stand around and ask themselves “What happened?”
I actually read the text of the law. Did you know that there is a ‘small business exemption’? If a small store owner self-transports the sugar-sweetened drinks (to include soda pop) from an outside source into his store then he can sell these outlawed drinks to his customers! HAH! Of course, most of these small shops are owned by people of color. It’s quite alright if they poison the children. And, of course, they will collect a HUGE windfall since the big store are banned from selling it! HAH! This is obviously a selective attack on big business. It’s got nothing to do with keeping the children safe. It would be like outlawing only a certain group of people (based upon economic status or skin color) from selling heroin within the city limits!!! HAH! Typical liberals!!! These are so connivingly stupid!!! 😀

Naturally, little Bobby and Jane can still load up on as many snickers bars as their pennies can afford!!! HAH! I walked into a popular discount store that sells grocery items as well as trinkets yesterday. There was a FULL AISLE about 20 yards long FULL of SUGAR-LACED CANDY BARS ON BOTH SIDES!!! HAH! And the ethic community was just loading up on it!!!! If you read the text of the Berkeley ordinance you would see that they were MOST CONCERNED about the people of color and their rates of diabetes, etc… nothing was mentioned about white people. But Berkeley said NOTHING about the sugar-laced candy bars (one bar has as much sugar as 2 glasses of soda and is WORSE for teeth since the gummy substance sticks between the teeth where the cavities grow!!!) But the liberals are dead silent about CANDY BARS and won’t ban those for sure!!! That would cut too heavily into their sales tax revenues!!! HAH!
Phonies, phonies, phonies. I can’t stand hypocrites and phonies!!! 🙁
