I think all of this just perfectly illustrates the problem and fallacies of “term limits” They have made things worse. We just get a bunch of (morons, in my opinion) who get in because the other guy can’t. Then, because they’re pol pros, they’ve got to move up, or get real productive jobs. So that results in proposing “their” things, usually radical, to get name recognition. They need to show they’re “doing something important”. Not necessarily so of the long time incumbents.
