Missouri?

In any event, I am very much in favor of ending prohibition. I realize the good folks in law enforcement (and incarceration) make a LOT of money of the war on drugs, civil forfeiture, they want to protect that money, but so much of the animosity between a large segment of people and the police these days has its source in this war on drugs. It is a war on people. Not any people, but we citizens. Why is it so important to my fellow citizens to put me in prison, make it impossible for me to support my family, maybe even steal my property from me just because I choose to smoke some weed in my own house? Drug warriors are authoritarian pricks that hate liberty unless it is their version of liberty (e.g., knocking back shots of hard alcohol - much more dangerous).

The reason to legalize is NOT because government gets to take even more taxes for their nice retirement deals. The reason is liberty. It's just a plant, folks.
