In reply to ricky65. Years ago here in Sacramento we almost had the Raiders move here. Then it fell through and they moved back to Oakland from LA. We just were denied a MLS soccer team but a nice new soccer stadium is being built downtown. Why not move the Raiders inland to Sac. We havemega fans of the Raider nation here.

According to many reports, the key to the NFL owners’ landslide vote was assuring the Chargers that they wouldn’t be in a completely subordinate position in sharing the Inglewood facilities with the Rams. Moving to Los Angeles would be much less of a bonanza for the Spanos family if it had to pay heavy rent and was shut out of many of the ancillary ways that stadiums and big mixed-use development projects make money.
See the big scam in these stadium “deals” is when the taxpayers cover 50%, 75% or 100% and then the Bazillionaire owners reap windfall profits from “naming rights” (hundreds of millions), luxury boxes, parking, and concessions. It is a major scam. The owners put in nothing, or close to nothing, and come out with hundreds of millions lining their pockets PLUS the stadium.

If the Spans Crime Family want a new stadium they can BUILD IT THEMSELVES… 😉

In reply to ricky65. Remember when the Raiders were the KINGS of Monday Night Football, were the WINNINGEST team in all of pro sports and had NEVER had a losing season???? I do! The entire Bay Area preferred the Raiders over the 49er's 4 to 1 back then. Now it is the OPPOSITE!

Speaking as a Nor-Cal resident it will be nice to have the Rams back in LA where they can be properly despised by us Nortes.
Speaking of despised, Mark Davis of the Raiders is a completely clueless hack who apparently inherited only his dad’s family trait for greed and duplicity.
Long suffering loyal Raider fans deserve to keep their team in the east bay and not be subject to the whims of the Al Davis crime family’s continual cash grabs.
But then greedy pretty much describes all the NFL team owners it seems.
