It is NOT très courant to be NOT cynical about politicians or government employees in general. It’s a slippery slope. Next thing you know you will be saying Jerry Brown is doing a fantastic job as Governor. (Seriously, Schwarzenegger did set the bar very low.)
And, if you want credibility and respect, you should learn to cleverly mangle the name of said politician. That gives credence to even the most inane, puerile, insulting post.
