In reply to pcrussell50. You are correct. Normal sales tax should be all they impose on vaping. Vaping is not a sin and is relatively harmless so there should be none or 95% less sin tax than cigarettes.

It’s all about the revenue. Vapers are young, single, white males who don’t earn much money. I think that’s the demographic that refuses to buy overpriced health insurance. This is just another way to make them donate to the healthcare system.
