I live in the Feather Falls area of Lake Oroville. For a few years now we are being “told” we are in a drought so they can drain our lake into the ocean. The lake is nearly full when summer starts and nearly empty by the end of summer. (Drought!) Smelt is NOT more important than farmed food. And, the cities of northern CA that supply water to the south are having their water rates go up alarmingly high. Because of this phony drought? It is crooked and the whole system needs to be looked into. Someone is making a lot of money and it is not the farmers, or the merchants of the city of Oroville that used to have hundreds of boaters, campers, hikers, etc. come for the summer. Now there are none. I truly hope that Pres. Trump will have someone come here to see what they have done!
