Rail system in LA already a low-speed fail (video)

One might assume policy makers would first assess the value, usage and efficiency of existing public transportation before endeavoring on a new multi-billion dollar, taxpayer funded transportation boondoggle like high-speed rail.
For instance, LA’s public transit system and low-speed train are inefficient and costly. It is a perfect example of why the high-speed rail boondoggle is just that. The video below created by Reason TV, while quite funny, also illustrates the problems with LA’s current transit system:
