Correa Protests Budget Sham

Steven Greenhut: Sen. Lou Correa, D-Anaheim, just told CalWatchdog that he abstained from all budget votes for a simple reason: he was protesting the “drill” budget that he viewed as a sham. “These aren’t real budget votes,” he told me. “These are an exercise.” Sen. Correa said he will wait for the “real deal” and vote when a serious budget is up for consideration. Good for him.
