This just in: We're more doomed than ever
OK, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been out of the state since Wednesday, passing the hat in Washington D.C. with Assembly Speaker Karen Bass and Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg. Abel Maldonado, Arnold’s pick for lieutenant governor, has yet to be confirmed by the Senate. So who’s running the state?
That would be Edmund G. Brown, Jr., attorney general for the state of California.
Don’ t know about you, but I’m feeling really weird right now. I mean, Schwarzenegger finished his meetings today, tomorrow’s a Furlough Friday and the state is more or less still alive… Oh, wait, just saw this State of Emergency declaration from “Acting Governor” Brown.
Oh yeah, we’re still doomed.
