More corrupt deputies
Steven Greenhut: Here’s an amazing LA Times story about the well-pensioned highly paid “professionals” at the LA sheriff’s department who “used fake scanner codes to avoid making their appointed rounds at the Men’s Central Jail to check on inmate welfare and security, according to an investigation made public Wednesday.” This may have contributed to a suicide in the jail.
