So why is Google worth so much?

I kept hoping it was an April Fool’s Day joke. But the new Gmail from Google isn’t. It makes me wonder how they got to be worth so many billions.

The new format opens a new  screen on the right side of my monitor. Google says this is so I can keep an eye on my Inbox. Why do I care about that?

Worse, it makes me tilt my head to the right, over and over again. I now have a kink in my neck.

Maybe it’s designed to increase costs for Obamacare.

Anybody know if there’s a way to go back to the old Gmail?

Click on “Compose”, at the bottom right hand corner of the chat box that pops up there is drop down box (downward facing arrow button next to the trash icon), click that and you will see an option to “Temporarily Switch Back to Old Compose”.

Val: thank you. I wonder how long that will last.

Shift click or ctrl click the compose button to get different options. And yes, the bottom right corner nonsense is really awful.
