School choice is spreading

School choice is spreading

Sept. 15, 2012

By Brian Calle

In this interview, I talked to Robert C. Enlow, president and CEO of the Friedman Center for Educational Choice. He describes the exciting developments across the country, including “some movement in California.”

The center is named after the late Nobel economics laureate Milton Friedman, who would have been 100 this year.

    True that Queeg— and as it turns out, up in Wisc., that darn old pesky Constitution allows for freedom of assembly ™ and free speech. Darn! I guess that collective bargaining is once again Constitutional!

    What’s a founder to do? I guess we have to treat our public teachers like professionals.

    Teddy= GED cop wannabe!!!

    Collective bargaining is not a “constitutional right”, it is statutory- and can be taken away as fast as it was given.

    WI still has a BAN on ALL collective bargaining for state employees (and local), as the recent ruling only applied to local employees, not state employees, and that ruling for local employees is stayed pending appellate review.

    12-0 BUDDY!….damn I hate being right all the time~ !!! 🙂
