Jerryfornia: California in orbit

John Seiler:

“To the moon, California!” shouted California voters today, doing an imitation of Jackie Gleason playing Ralph Kramden on the old “Honeymooners” TV show. “Bang! Zoom!”

Once again the state is launching into orbit with Captain Moonbeam. We’ve been on this trip before: an all-out assault on infrastructure, leading to crumbling roads; multiple favors for the government-worker unions; nutty proposals backed by nuttier rhetoric. What a ride!

Especially a ride out of the state for jobs, businesses and productive people.

It’s Jerry and his beloved bureaucrats who are going to be imposing AB 32 now that Prop.23 lost. And it’s Jerry who’s going to be signing into law even loonier legislation.

The sound you hear is thousands of moving vans pulling up in front of businesses across Jerryfornia.
