UTLA boss goes Orwell: Teachers=students

Tuesday’s historic Vergara vs. California ruling was likened to Brown vs. Board of Education by none other than Rolf Treu, the judge who issued the decision. But has anyone noticed how quiet Latino Democrats are about the ruling, outside of Antonio Villaraigosa and Gloria Romero? I asked Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez on Twitter on Tuesday evening what she thought. She said she would get back to me but never has.

In the meantime, however, we’re seeing some hilariously Orwellian comments from the head of United Teachers Los Angeles. This is from the L.A. Times:

orwell“This decision today is an attack on teachers, which is a socially acceptable way to attack children,” said Alex Caputo-Pearl, the president-elect of the Los Angeles teachers union. Instead of providing for smaller classes or more counselors, “you attack teacher and student rights.”

Up is down, left is right, right is wrong, teachers=students.

Oh, my. George Orwell long ago predicted in his novel “1984” that political speech would become this outrageously manipulative — this baldly, weirdly dishonest.

George was right.

Remember, Alex Caputo-Pearl is the head of the United Teachers Los Angeles. This is the same CTA chapter that got the Los Angeles Unified School District to approve the rules that prevented Miramonte Elementary School teacher Mark Berndt from being immediately fired after evidence emerged that he had fed his students semen.

If attacking teachers is a way of attacking students, what is a teacher feeding semen to a student? A teacher who can’t immediately be fired for this? A teacher whom school district officials believe they can’t remove from the payroll unless they pay him $35,000 first?

If Alex Caputo-Pearl has a response, I’ll let everyone know.

No worry. The globalists will just bring a juicy wad of cash to the power brokers……..they need dumbed down service workers mollified with fast food, electronic trinkets and rap opera to do the menial jobs globalists only create!

For those who disagree…..pull out your box of Captain Crunch and turn TV and enjoy Toto, Tin Man and Dorothy doing their thing.

Queegy, the RAGWUS is being exposed for the manufactured lies they spew at every turn. The Mother that calls 911 for help with a combative teen in the hope that the state will send a compassionate emissary to calm the issue under the guise of “protect and serve” finds that the apothegm is referring to pay, benefits. and pensions, not the life of a victim of the state, same with the teachers, “it’s about the children,” when in fact it is about a constrictive labyrinth of laws, rules, regulations, and policies seeking control of minds and property taxes to enrich those that spend their early working years attending state run colleges in the hope of getting a job the one works six months a year and then retires at $8 to $9 thousand dollars a month at sixty years old.

You post commie lefty rants that any person that works for a living in the private sector knows is a lie Queegy, it is clear you are a RAGWUS narcissist. 🙂

Vergara isn’t an “historic” ruling. It’s a trial court one off like a million others that are reversed. Was the opinion published? I don’t know myself. If it was it is at most a “supp” opinion— won’t last long– I’m Ted, I’ll be your server– enjoy!
